If you have a great idea then you should try to implement it. Maybe it will be just your hobby but it also can became a big new interesting part of your life. I was a musician and studing Accountancy in National University. But one day I heard about new interesting material that can be used for handmade jewelry. I was a unusual girl with blue hair and gothic style. And that was a great chance for me to make more different jewerly and accessories in this style in colours and details I want. That was the beginning of my sculpting self-education.
Every person can change his profession or add a new interesting one to his life and improve skills and knowledge with self-education. It doesn’t matter how old are you – young student or an old man/woman. If you have a goal and a great desire – nothing is impossible!
I have never think that I will be a handmade artist and will make such unusual items in my own comfortable studio. But now I’m very happy that one day I have found this wonderful material – polymer clay.
I am working in several different areas now. The main working place at this moment it’s an armour workshop. My husband is an owner of the “Wildarmoury” workshop and making medieval re-enactment armour for full contact medieval fight since 2001. I am an account manager and accountant in his workshop.
All my free time I devote to my hobby and reading new information in different spheres.
My main motto is – “Everything is possible. The impossible just takes longer.” Every new unusual and difficult order it’s like a challenge and an opportunity to improve my sculpting skills.
